A total of 90 discoveries of oil and gas have been discovered in the last five
years in the country with following stats; 12 discoveries in 2019, 22 discoveries in 2018, 17 in 2017, 24 in 2016, and 12 discoveries of oil and gas were made in 2015.
More than 10 detections were made in the Punjab, 69 in Sindh, eight in
the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, and three in Baluchistan. As per the predictions,
country is going to face shortage of natural gas in this winter because of
anticipated gap in demand and supply of gas i.e. during the winter months,
gas consumption will be more swear in the domestic sector. The anticipated
