Centre for Energy Research and Development (CERAD), University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore in collaboration with Punjab Energy Efficiency and Conservation Agency (PEECA) organized the 3rd International Conference on Energy Conservation and Efficiency (ICECE) 2019 which was attended enthusiastically by the engineering community.
Vice Chancellor UET Lahore Professor Dr Syed Mansoor Sarwar graced the event as chief guest. Dr Youn Saup from Guwangju University, South Korea, Professor Dr Bhooming Zhang from Tsinghua University, China, Director CERAD Dr Waqar Mehmood, Dr Suhail Aftab Qureshi, researchers, energy experts, manufacturers and building designers were also present. The purpose of this conference was to interact, discuss, explore and exchange ideas in the fast-growing field of energy efficiency and conservation strategies.

“In present scenario the … main responsibility is to utilize this energy resource efficiently by adopting energy efficient gadgets at houses, industry and other production units. In this regards Universities must come up with innovative ideas and exploring new aspects in research” said Vice Chancellor UET Professor Dr Syed Mansoor Sarwar.
Dr Waqar Mahmood delivered a brief presentation on the recently wrapped up 3rd ICECE 2019 and previous two successful conferences and thanked the guests and the participants. The conference carried number of things to attract the researchers, energy experts, industry and academia.
