On the 10th of March 2019, KP Chief Minister Mahmood Khan inaugurated the 3G, 4G services for the people of the erstwhile FATA. A leading cellular company Jazz had been awarded the project worth Rs 258 million for provision of 3G and 4G services in FATA. CM KP also announced the Sehat Insaf Card to provide annual health insurance cover of Rs720,000 to each family. A 54-kilometers long road from Spin to Shawa was also announced for the area to promote tourism
