In an exclusive interview with Engineering Post, Mian Arif Hussain, Chairman of the Islamabad Chapter of the Pakistan HVACR Society, shared his insights on the 31st Pakistan HVACR Expo & Conference in Karachi and its growing significance for Pakistan’s engineering landscape.
Speaking about the role of the Islamabad Chapter, Mian Arif Hussain emphasized its strong alignment with the Society’s vision of indigenous growth. He explained that improving the quality of domestically produced engineering equipment remain top priorities. “Strengthening local capabilities not only enhances our export potential but also moves Pakistan closer to true industrial self-reliance,” he said,
He highlighted the enduring partnership between the Pakistan HVACR Society and ASHRAE Chapters as a cornerstone of industry progress. This collaboration, he explained, provides engineers across the country with a vital platform for knowledge sharing, professional development through joint seminars and technical workshops.
