The first direct foreign investment in the second year of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government, at the Bhalwal Industrial Estate, with mega investment of US $70 million would create job opportunities in abundance in area. A land of 37 acres has been allocated to a Chinese Oreal Company for Ceramics factory. The Oreal Ceramics is expected to start its production in near future as its building is near completion. The production of ceramic tiles by the Chinese company within the country would help save foreign exchange being spent on the import of ceramic tiles. Apart from the local renowned brands, Italian, Iranian and Chinese tiles are sold in the local markets. But Chinese tiles for being cheaper have good share in the market. The Punjab Industrial Estates under one window service centre is providing all services to investors and industrialists within stipulated time period.
